A Presentation on Semi-Supervised Clustering Methods at 2023 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM)

At the upcoming 2023 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) gathering in Toronto, Ontario on August 6th, Dr. Eric Bair of Sciome will deliver a talk on “Semi-Supervised Clustering Methods.” JSM is one of the largest statistical events in the world, and provides a unique opportunity for statisticians in academic, industry, and government to exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration. Dr. Bair, a senior statistician at Sciome, is an expert in the field of machine learning and data science, and has made significant contributions to the development of clustering methods that can leverage both labeled and unlabeled data to improve clustering accuracy. This talk will highlight his highly cited 2013 review paper on semi-supervised clustering published in WIREs Computational Statistics, one of the first papers to describe and summarize the research in this area.
